Your Right to Data Deletion

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to exercise this right.

How to Delete Your Account and Data

Option 1: Delete via Dashboard (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your SyncMySalon account
  2. Go to SettingsAccount
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion (you will be asked twice for confirmation)
  5. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access your account, send an email to pixelfluxinfo@gmail.com with:

  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Your account email address
  • Your business name (if applicable)
  • Confirmation that you want to delete all data

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account information (name, email, phone number)
  • Business profile and settings
  • All bookings and appointment history
  • Client information and contact details
  • Service listings and pricing
  • Stylist information
  • Conversation logs and chat history
  • WhatsApp message history
  • Payment and billing information
  • Analytics and usage data

What May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons:

  • Transaction Records: Financial records may be retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
  • Legal Obligations: Data required by law or court order
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot identify you
  • Backup Copies: Data in backups may persist for up to 30 days before permanent deletion

WhatsApp Data Deletion

If you have connected WhatsApp Business to SyncMySalon:

  • Your WhatsApp message history stored on our servers will be deleted
  • Your WhatsApp Business Account connection will be disconnected
  • Meta (Facebook) may retain data according to their Privacy Policy - you must contact Meta separately to delete WhatsApp data stored on their servers

Note: To fully delete WhatsApp data, you may need to:

  1. Disconnect WhatsApp in SyncMySalon (done automatically during account deletion)
  2. Contact Meta directly if you want to delete your WhatsApp Business Account

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
